Genevieve Levicki is a studio artist based in Austin, Texas. Originally a pastry chef, Genevieve spent 10+ years creating cakes and edible sugar art. She has recently transitioned from the culinary arts into more permanent art forms.
In 2019, Genevieve taught at The Mosaic Workshop in Austin, instructing participants of all levels to construct unique artwork with colorful glass tile, stained glass, ceramic, mirror, and more.
Genevieve’s pieces have been represented in multiple Austin Community College art exhibitions. “Funny Farm Let Loose” was featured in 2019’s 43rd Annual ACC Student Art Exhibition, as well as making an appearance in the Peace and Conflict Studies Spring Symposium: The Borders of Belonging: Art, Conflict Transformation, and Peace. The piece "Selfie Portrait" was selected in the 2018 ACC Juried Student Art Exhibit.
As an animal lover, Genevieve identifies vast emotions in the eyes of pets and revels in the opportunity to translate it to canvas. Her dog Tegan, a very good girl, inspired her business and often accompanies her in the studio. Her cats, Fitzgerald and Kansas, as beloved as they are destructive, aren’t allowed in the studio for that very reason.
